Kudos to Casie Wheeler on the following accomplishment. The 27th. annual Carey Rose Winski Dance Scholarship Competition was held on Sunday, September 30th, 2007 at the Lou Conte Dance Studio - Hubberd Street Dance Chicago. Scholarships totaling $1,500.00 are given to the winners by the Carey Rose Winski Memorial Foundation. Other scholarships are given by Gus Giordano Dance Center, The Joffrey Ballet of Chicago and Motion Unlimited. Casie Wheeler won second place, which was a $500.00 cash award. She was also awarded a certificate to attend a Company class and audition for the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago.
